MUST TAKE CAMERA OUT OF BAG

a pleasant weekend spent at grove with martyn in the morning and later on with chris and andy on saturday,having met martyn in the morning and both  knowing that a juv purple heron was about we hoped to catch up with it, as we was sitting in harrison in popped up out of the blue, purple heron no2 at grove this year,with this we carried on birding and heading back to the ramp later on we caught up with andy and chris on the ramp,with andy already seeing the purple heron  and chris missing it.VERY HARD BIRD to see like most purple herons

SUNDAY having a lazy stroll to the valley arriving at six oclock i headed to marsh hide and stay put for most of the morning put join later on by rick,on the way down i spotted a water vole in the dyke which is a great thing to see

and later on a party of juv bearded tits past in front of the hide

and watching the juv marsh harriers

walking up to the ramp me and rick bump into one of the old guys who said he had the purple heron for the ramp and flew towards harrison,as we was sitting in there it flew up,and camera still in bag got a few crude shots
