SIX HOUR SLOG

another day at the harbour dover this time, after my seven at ramsgate yesterday, been floating between the two as the POW is shut some times at the moment, with bloody icey cold wind  i went along the POW,this how you find birds you get out there, i started to count the kittiwakes this morning as the numbers having increase some what got up 53 than i spotted a little gull amongst them a nice adult bird then i lost it i took another three hours to find it again, with no sign of any divers about, there was a big influx of razor bills entering the inner harbour with a lone guillimot
as you can see bottom left, not a lot off differents apart from trailing feet a little bit longer at a distance very hard

a good learning curve for distant see watching

and few shots off razorbills

great watching these fly in as the landing is mostly head over heels they was a good number in groups of five to ten i count upwards of 150 in number

also a common scoter in wellington docks
as you can see no head shots just good old patch watching if a Pacific or white bill turns up i might just have sit on it then again would i be able to id it i let you decide
