JUST A FEW

after yesterday heavy down pour and birds dropping form the sky it has be a couple of swell days with me picking up my 289 kent tick in the shape of a leach's petrel from the towers yesterday and nearly being hit by a incoming firecrest that landed next to me redwings glory, a blackredstart
that was just feeding soon as it landed brambling glory, birds birds everywhere it was a sight to remember,so on that note i arranged to meet barry at wapole bay, arriving early and meeting adam first we saw was a wheatear and lapland bunting good start, three brambling was hogging the fence line as we walked down.

the count was 7 lapland 3 jacksnipe 1 black red 1 red loads of redwing and bramling,1great spot, but the birds where moving inland so this note we headed to plumpudding hoping for some move goodies plenty of goldcrest but sod all else headed down to cold harbour for the snow bunts that steve had,we never found them headed of to meet steve who has head a male redstart to himself proved very entertaining where we went the bird went the other way

walking back we also saw 2 ring ouzels end to a super day
