I was doing my normal owl watching and came across this very confinding barn owl, which was post hunting, first time i have seen this bird very confident not phased by me at all, some nights i see zero birds, but other nights i see up to five hunting, but that is in, a all night stop over,i can be waiting hours just for a single shot, but last night it was just superb
hun
as you can tell it was raining very hard, but this bird kept going the kill was over in seconds
it was down in the grass like a flash killed the prey then in a split second shallowed it whole only managed to grab a few shots of this amazing bird in hunting mode

it was a pure privilege to watch this bird at such close quarters amazing night which i will not forget for a very long time

That certainly was absolutely amazing and to think you got those shots as well and see it all in person. WOW! Stunning.
