75TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE HARDEST DAY OF THE BATTLE OF BRITIAN

Left work at 12 oclock and headed straight down to capel le ferne, raf  battle of britian memorial site it was raining non stop on my way down,it was a big if and buts if the planes flew, upon arrival it was jammed packed but lucky for me i do not mind a walk,so i headed to the cliff edge over looking the memorial,it then starting raining even worst with the wind in your face, then you heard that drone which could only be of the merlin engine, what a sight four spitfires, followed by four hurricanes what a amazing sight,a fewq mintues later they turned and headed back to biggin hill, theweather was just awful but who am i to moan compared to what these brave men did 75th years ago, what a day i glad i went down and payed my respect,be a very very long time before i will forget what saw today my photos just don't do any justice to these wonderful planes.
