Spent yesterday doing my bto webs count at dover nothing special, until the the wind picked up and a single gannet flew into the harbour by the hoverpad, bingo i knew what was just about to happen, i was think to myself a replay of  1st jan 2012 no what about to happen was even better 22 if not more GANNETS flew in and started to feed, so close you could poke them as they went past my shots are nothing special as the weather was terrible amazing birds and superb few hour watching

Mark - they might not be up there with your owl photos, but they'd certainly make me happy! Nice one mate. Have a great 2016 - Dyl

Fabulous shots of the Gannets. I am nearly home now from my trip to Malawi and Zambia, just waiting at Heathrow for my flight this afternoon but thanks for leaving me all the comments when I was away.

Great Gannet shots Mark. They rarely come close enough to shot around here. I thought you had popped up to Bempton for the day lol. Its a shame the weather was so rough!
