I had been holding back on twitching short eared owls and taking photos as it one of my favourite birds,but the opportunity rose today so had a field day three birds all to myself,two of the birds where newly arrived so hunting was the goal of the day three and half hours none stop,with the birds fighting and attacking each other for the best hunting spots,the other bird did not straight hunting until dusk but all the afternoon just sat in the long grass well away from the other two
