PLEASE CANON

Four weeks has past and now,i am starting to enjoy the new camera,But a few little niggles have come up one the battery life is SHOCKING 250+ shots if you lucky, but i have soon sorted that issue out turn everything off which i do use or need even the rear screen, bingo 380+ shots,The biggest fault with this mirrorless and the other m series is the the sensor on the view finder
this bloody thing,it is very sensitive switches from the screen to view finder amazing quick, but you can turn the screen off and have only the view finder on great, not so as i have found out it turn it self off very quickly and if you need it to take a shot,a split second delay to turn on again,so i emailed canon for answer anyway around it,the answer basically was NO,so this weekend i toyed with a idea in theory it should work,so i put it to the test best way bag of sunflower hearts and a few nuthatches

saturday the sun was out the idea worked like a treat, but i only took a few shots,so after work on monday i had another go in over cast conditions i took over 300+ shots the canon AF worked like a dream the battery lasted the session viewfinder worked well all i did was this

stuck a bit of tape over the viewfinder keeps it on until what ever time you have set for auto turn off kicks in turns, that simple canon a mirrorless which is active like a dslr a do not miss a shot now apart from that would i buy a dslr again my answer has be wait and see.................................so canon please make a eye cup which you can swap over with the originally which can cover the sensor best of both worlds then.
