With the dark evenings drawing in very fast i was great time to go owl hunting,arriving upon site just as the light was fading single barn owl hunting low,driving a bit further two short eared owls chasing each other,great stuff,well so i set myself up 40d on the DO lens,as 1d has none, manual settings flash all primed ready to go,first few shots be honest where rubbish,so i kept going 7 barn owls hunting all at once wonderful views in the cars head lights,here are a few ok shots,i will be back for more armed with a speedlite for the 1d
